Pressestimmen
"More rich, ripe and fruit-intense on the the nose than the ascetic Nussbrunnen is the 2014 Riesling trocken GG Berg Rottland; it was picked with 30 hectoliters per hectare due to strict selections in the vineyard. The vinification is exactly the same as with the Nussbrunnen -- 24 hours of maceration, fermentation and aging partly in used 350-liter oak barrels and stainless steel, malolactic fermentation included. The resulting wine is broad, wide, juicy, elegant, powerful and well structured in the finish. There are some grippy tannins in this full-bodied and still somewhat yeasty wine that shall benefit from further bottle age. The finesse and purity is still hidden, though indicated; the wine is not just very authentic and from a great terroir, but should benefit from further bottle aging."
