Pressestimmen
"The 2015 Hattenheim Nussbrunnen Riesling trocken GG has a yellow-golden color and opens with a warm and elegant nose of super ripe fruits; the aromas remain naturally discreet, interwoven with darker, earthy and even some leather and tobacco flavors. There is a great purity indicated that is found again on the finish. The wine is full-bodied, round and complex, a long-distance runner with a ripe and elegant acidity and a long, nicely piquant finish. The Nussbrunnen will need a few years to unfold all its talents, but its structure and perfect ripe fruit indicate a great ageing potential. Compared to the charmingly round and fruity Wisselbrunnen, the Nussbrunnen is the darker, more masculine wine that still seems to think about how it will be performing in five years. Drink Date: 2020 - 2030."
2015 Balthasar Ress Hattenheim Wisselbrunnen Riesling GG trocken - 94 Punkte
"Yellow-golden in color, the 2015 Hattenheim Wisselbrunnen Riesling trocken GG has a deep, clear and elegant nose with delicate ripe fruit and lemon aromas, perfectly intertwined with finely grained stones. The wine is very elegant and balanced on the palate, flows slowly, but solemnly over the palate; it finishes with a serious expression of salty minerals and perfectly ripe Riesling flavors. This is a powerful but also pure, finesse-full and very elegant Wisselbrunnen with a stimulating grip and tension. Compared with the darker-toned Nussbrunnen, the Wisselbrunnen is the more charming and fruity wine that is accessible earlier than its brother. Drink Date: 2017 - 2030."
2015 Balthasar Ress Rudesheim Berg Schlossberg Riesling GG trocken - 92+ Punkte
"Balthasar Ress's golden-yellow colored 2015 Rüdesheim Berg Schlossberg Riesling Trocken GG has an open, pretty lactic bouquet of ripe stone fruits. The wine is smooth and creamy on the palate, pretty salty, elegant and full of tension, whereas the persistent finish is still astringent in its grip and freshness. An interesting approach with tropical fruit flavors and a lingering salinity in the finish. Very well structured. I am curious to see where this wine will go in the next ten years. Drink Date: 2020 - 2026."
